Open contact directly by url

Hi,

Our instance is installed on this url: https://crm.domain.com/

Our contacts all have the Phone field filled and I can search on phone number but what is the direct URL to open a contact by Phone number?
I would suspect something like: https://crm.domain.com/#Contact?Phone=0612345678 but this doesn't work?

If I understand you correctly, you want to open Contact by clicking on the Phone field?
If so, then some Layouts have such an option, for example, in List view (screenshot 1).
If I'm wrong, please elaborate on what you're trying to implement and for what purpose?

Hi, thank you for answering.
I'm trying to find the direct URL to a contactpage by phone number.
So when I navigate to https://crm.domain.com/#Contact?Phone=0612345678 it should open the contacts page with person X to who 0612345678 is related. 0612345678 being his cellphone number.

The ultimate goal is to be able to do a VoIP integration in some kind of way that will open the page of the contact when incoming call are coming through based on the phone number (caller id).

nah it doesn't work like that, it should https://crm.domain.com/#Contact/view/64f1b72ac44d7e801 (the ide of the contact) there is no ability to open a contact using a phone number.

do you have voip package from dev team ? if yes you should be able to locate how they match incoming calls with existing contacts in crm

No I haven't but I would like to see how this can be done before purchasing it.
