Aiva - AI email assistant for espocrm

    Hey folks,

I hope everyone is doing well.

i am currently building an extension as an AI assistant - currently used for email and email template. below current covered features (if you are interested)

    AI Assistant for EspoCRM

Email Compose — Write emails from a prompt with tone and length controls. Optional AI-generated subject line.

Email Reply — Generate context-aware replies with custom instructions. Thread-aware when enabled.

Email Summarize — One-click summary of any email or thread. Highlights key points, action items, and deadlines.

Create Task / Schedule Call — Generate actionable follow-ups directly from a summary, pre-filled with AI-extracted action items and linked to the original email.

Email Template Generator — AI-powered template creation for reusable emails and campaigns.

Multi-Provider Support — Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and Grok. Switch providers anytime from admin settings.

Permission Gated — Role-based access control. Admins decide who can use AI features.

Format Aware — Generates content in HTML or plain text based on the editor's current format setting. Seamlessly adapts to the user's preference.

Language Aware — Seamlessly adapts to the user's language preference.

Keyboard Shortcuts — Ctrl+Enter to generate/insert, Ctrl+R to regenerate across all modals.

WIP: Stats widget (per user etc) - also Tokens usage per request. Integration with knowledge base article (current design idea is to generate a knowledge base article using a prompt or providing an external link e.g if you have a blog post on your website and want to build a knowledge base article from that blog).

    Looks amazing!

Maybe also consider supporting Ollama in case someone is hosting their own AI
