    Multiple versions upgrade

Why should I run upgrade command multiple times when I upgrade from 9.3.3 to 9.3.8? It's not straightforward and not logical. Why upgrade script cannot directly upgrade from one to the latest version, instead of 9.3.3->9.3.4, 9.3.4->9.3.5 and etc.

Reasonable question. I suppose that intentional step to reduce the number of random errors during big-gap upgrades. Some further versions might have dependencies on the previous version, so in this way it's easier to predict and avoid unexpected troubles with your system.

A similar update occurs between different major versions (you described minor ones). That is, a similar update occurs, for example, when updating from v9.1.9 to v9.2.7.
