Thank you.
I didn't test this properly. With a large number of contacts, many have no first name. That's what this sorting through each other brings. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the sorting field.

For the List (for Account), sorting by no field is saved (neither by Name, nor by Last Name or another field), as, for example, such a sorting order is saved in the List view.
That is, in List (for Account) the sorting works until the page is refreshed, and after the refreshe it's always sorted by the Name field from A to Z.

hello Victor,
thank you very much for the quick answer. The sorting works, of course. But when you leave the dataset account after sorting and open it again, the contacts are no longer sorted.
It works with the "Name" column..

peterberlin,
Sorting in Administration -> Entity Manager -> Contact -> Layouts -> List (for Account) works (screenshots 1, 2) unless you have the Not Sortable option enabled for the Last Name field (screenshots 3, 4).

A question about sorting contacts
Hello,
In the Contacts subpanel for accounts, you can sort the contacts.
The system does not notice the sorting when the last name field is used for sorting.
Is this the way it should be?
