  • Login failed, wrong password or user

    Hi,
    another day, another problem.
I want to login my site. But I get a response "wrong user or password"

I try to reset my password with email... didn´t work
I try to reset my password with CLI (php command.php set-password [username])... didn´t work
I also try to rebuild and clear cache via CLI.... but it didn´t work
I try to change my password in phpmyadmin (user)... but without result.

    What should I do now?
    thank you

    See here: https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/gene...admin-password

A tip for searching: Don`t use the search function ere in the forum, it unfortunately ist not so good. Use Google instead, as the results will link to the respective threads in this forum.

Check an EspoCRM log file https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...ng/#check-logs.

            I got it...
I use 2 browsers. I couldn't log in to either of them, not even after clearing the cache. I installed a third browser and it worked. And now I can log into the other browser again. Funny...

              It´s not over...

CRM is in the "backoffice" folder. This folder is password protected. If I turn on the protection, I cannot log into CRM. If I turn off the protection, I can log in. Why?

Could you provide all your configuration? Server, OS and all that stuff. I guess you might have some exotic configuration. What do you mean by "backoffice"?

"Backoffice" is the folder, where crm is.
                  Code:
                  http://url/backoffice/crm
I didn´t know the server configuration.I can actually only use htaccess and PuTTy for settings

Because it looks like your whole Espo installation lives in a protected folder so anyone wanting to access your crm has to be also authorized to access "backoffice" first.

I suspect that the reason why you are sometimes allowed access is that there's a cookie in your browser holding session authorization to access "backoffice"

Talk to your network administrator about moving the installation to a non-protected folder if "backoffice" contains other folders or files that need to be password protected.

I had a similar problem, but when I try login it says "there was an error sending your request, please try again." Can someone find a fix? https://tutuappvip.co https://routingnumbers.onl
