We have upgraded from version 5.4.5 to 5.5.3.
Now we get an error message (see above) when we open an opportunity. Create new or change doesn't work.
The LOG file says :

During the upgrade we did not follow this advice.
Is this the cause?
Is there still a way to solve the problem without a back-up?

During the upgrade we did not follow this advice.
Before upgrading, it's recommended to remove all success jobs. This will expedite the upgrading process. Administration > Scheduled Jobs > Jobs in the top right corner > filter jobs by status = 'Success' > Select All Results > Remove.
Is there still a way to solve the problem without a back-up?
