Unable to select specific phone number in email templates

I have created an email template and am not able to choose which phone number to display using the available variables in the system for the User sending the email.

Example User I have all 5 items populated in the selected order Other, Mobile, Office, Home & Fax. (See image attachments)
There is no other variable to choose from other than {User.phoneNumber} and it only pulls the very 1st available number in the list of populated numbers.
I have also tried the following {User.phoneNumber.Other} or {User.phoneNumber.Office} generates nothing.
Variable "Phone Number Data" {User.phoneNumberData} pulls nothing.

Please advise.

Anyone? or is this just not a possibility without custom programming?

For now I think it's possible with programming only
