Making list view full screen width?

Posting in this forum as I went to Developer first post;

How could we expand the list records view to be the entire screen width? I'm trying simple CSS solutions and there doesn't seem to be a way to do so..this seems hard to believe, because all other CRMs do so and understand there is likely a situation we need to show either smaller font / fit more columns than 100% view usually allows. Would love to understand how to show more on this screen for our CRM. Thanks

From the existing functionality, it is possible to select the value "Wide" in Users > User_name > Preferences > User Interface > Content Width.

The view attached is actually 'wide' already. As you can see, there's much more room to be used...
