yuri victor I haven't made any customizations in Opportunity.json. I have cross-checked another entities' JSON files to check for any mismatches in these fields, but nothing shows up. Are there any other default functions that might be updating the parent ID for attachments? What’s strange is that not only do the attachments have issues with these records, but none of the workflows are triggering for them either. Also, when I create a duplicate of the same record, attachments and workflows work absolutely like they do for other records.Last edited by Ashif Malayil; 08-16-2025, 07:05 AM. -
If you don't have formulas or workflows related to Attachments or Opportunities, you should review your customizations in the code and look for the cause.Leave a comment:

Please send a screenshot of the settings for this Attachment Multiple field. Maybe there is some dynamic logic applied there and/or the Accept option specifies a certain list of allowed file extensions, and you are uploading both allowed and disallowed ones. And some of them are saved correctly, while others are not.

Hi yuri ,
I'm confused because this issue occurs only with certain Opportunity records. In other modules, it works fine. Additionally, in the Opportunity module, I have a workflow that fetches the timestamp of specific status changes, but it only captures a few records. Similarly, when the status field is audited, the stream only shows details for a few records. This feels strange.
Please advise.

I’ve been reviewing the debug logs to troubleshoot the issue with the Attachment Multiple field, but no relevant information appears. The problem is occurring very frequently, and as of now, all attachments added to the field are disappearing after saving. The logs are there in attachments. Is it possible to link those to the affected records?

Hi Team,
I’ve noticed an issue with the Attachment Multiple field in Opportunity records. For some records, images added to the Attachment Multiple field persist after saving, but for others, they disappear. Notably, the parent ID for the affected records is not appearing in the Attachments section. I’m unsure what might be causing this issue. I created another field to test, but the same issue occurs.
