    Quotes sent not showing in Opportunity Activies anymore

    Hi,

    We're noticing that when sending a quote by email (and having an opportunity assigned to the quote), the email is not showing in the opportunity Activities Panel anymore like it used to be. This was a very important feature for keeping track of the quotes sent for a specific opportunity. Is there a way to re-enable that behavior?

    It seems like it stopped at the same like as our e-mail placeholders picking up infos from the Opportunity as the "parent" got broken. (see my other post https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/gene...e-last-updates).

    Hi Unreal51North,

    In order for information about the Quote sent by email to appear in the History panel of your Opportunity (from which this Quote was created), you need to select Opportunity for the Parent field of the email you are creating when Sent in Email.

So, in the Account, the History panel will display both emails where the Parent is Opportunity and emails where the Parent is Quote.

      Unfortunately, functionality was deliberately changed. Setting emails sent from Quote to Opportunity was a wrong choice.
      If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.
