Help with Setting Up Automated Lead Assignment Notifications in EspoCRM

Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of setting up an automated email notification to alert a user whenever a lead is assigned to them. I would like the email to be sent immediately after the assignment, and ideally include relevant lead details if possible.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

1. In Administration > Notifications > Email Notifications, I’ve added the "Lead" scope under Assignment Email Notifications.
2. In Administration > Users > [User Name] > Preferences, I’ve checked the box for Email notifications upon assignment.
3. In Administration > Template Manager > Assignment :: Lead, I’ve created the template with placeholders for the necessary details.

However, it still doesn’t seem to be working. Has anyone configured this successfully in EspoCRM? If so, could you share any advice or examples?

You need to create a simple Workflow that will send a notification with details about the created Lead (requires Advanced Pack extension) as soon as the Lead is created.
Regular sending of Email Notifications only works when the user is not logged into the instance (not online). However, the speed of sending regular Email Notifications is adjustable in Administration > Scheduled Jobs > Send Email Notifications > Scheduling.
