Print as PDF - Error since V. 9.0.0

    Hello again,

co-workers have informed me, that they're no longer able to print PDF-Files. When I checked, I got the message "error retrieving template placeholders" - this ist new, 'cos it has worked until updating to Version 9.0.0 a few days ago... (PDF Engine: Dompdf) - Would be great if you could look into it ?! Thanks a lot

And thanks by the way for the lightspeed fix of the date problem (> no dates prior 1970)...

    Kind regards, Martin

I haven't noticed any issues with Print to PDF.
    - Is this issue happening to you with a specific Template or with all of them?
    - With one specific entity or with all of the Templates?

Hi, since I've updated to V.9.0.0 none of the "PDF-Templates" is working anymore - always the same error message
Printing a "report" to PDF is still working fine

      Hi i-Arbeitsschutz,

Please tell me, do you have any third-party extensions installed? Could you also send us the error log of your EspoCRM instance?

        Hello again...

just to keep you updated in case someone else is / was suffering from same problem - I figured out what was causing the above mentioned error message:

eSignature extension (v.4.0.3) is no longer compatible with EspoCRM (v.9.0.0 and above).

Only (known) solution: In eSignature settings unlink the entity you actually wanted to use the extension with and clear cache (properly - that means: delete all folders within the path "../data/cache" since this is obviously not done by clicking the button "clear cache" in admin area ...

Only then I was able again to print the document as PDF file again...

        Regards, Martin
