Is EspoCRM a HubSpot alternative?

I’m trying to find a CRM. Just for context, we are a team of 5 providing event planning services. As we are only starting out, we are looking for something effective but, for obvious reasons, budget-friendly.

For the past few weeks, I've been researching and comparing different CRM systems and narrowed down our list of suitable options to Hubspot, EspoCRM, and several other platforms. We've already tested HubSpot but encountered some difficulties and are not sure if it’s the best option for us.

We are also testing EspoCRM, which looks like a great solution but it doesn’t include a CMS, lead capture forms, WhatsApp or social media integrations, and there’s no scheduling system like Calendly.

I’ve read that Zapier and Make can fill these integration gaps. Has anyone here set up integrations? What solutions have you found to overcome these limitations?

for sure EspoCRM is a solid alternative for a lot of CRM's out there. You should prepare for yourself a list of required features and check whether EspoCRM meet them.
In regard to schedule, i can humbly mention our simple integration which allows to use EspoCRM with Cal.com which is an alternative for calendly.

Zapier and Make are working with EspoCRM, that's a solid alternative to standard integrations for sure and much cheaper.

Lead capture forms are coming with version 9.0 planned to be released on January 20th

All the other integrations can be created with Make/Zapier or by developing/buying extensions.

Regarding a scheduling system, I think it's planned by the dev team for the future as a paid extension, if I recall correctly.

ESPOCRM is definitely a better alternative to Hubspot. I have migrated from Hubspot to ESPOCRM
