  • Filter User Comments: Restrict Users to View Only Their Own Comments in EspoCRM

    Hi, I would like to implement a filter in EspoCRM that ensures normal users can only view their own comments in the stream of a lead, and cannot see comments made by other users. Admins, however, should still have access to view all comments. Does anyone have a solution or guidance on how to configure this in EspoCRM?

    Did you try setting the “stream” permission for the role to “Own”?

      It's already configured in the role section for users to view only their own stream, but the comments are still visible to all users.

        The own option in the Stream column for any entity (for example, an Account) means that the User will see absolutely the entire Stream in the account where this user is the Assigned User.
        The team option in the Stream column for any entity (for example, an Account) means that the User will see absolutely the entire Stream in the account where his Team is added or this user is an Assigned User.​

        That is, it is not possible to grant access to individual Stream(Note) records within one record (account), but there is an opportunity to grant or deny access to the entire Stream within a specific record (account).
