Availability of "Stream" in Opportunity Items

The current version does not have an option to edit the Opportunity Items at the Entity Manager level and enable Stream.
Is it is bug or has it been deliberately disabled?
Can it be enabled in the next upgrade?

In v10.0.8, enabling and disabling Stream works correctly, and Opportunity Items are available in the Bottom Panels. I don't recall exactly which version it was, but the Item List is no longer available in the Detail view.
