Hello
With which Espocrm version can you use the Export Import extension tool? 7.x ? 8.x?
Is it possible to export data from 7.x and export it to 8.x with this tool?

Hi peterberlin,

Everything is individual for each version of any EspoCRM extension.
However, you can determine whether a specific version of the extension is suitable for your instance in the following way (using the Export-Import extension as an example):

1. Go to the page for downloading various versions of the extension https://github.com/espocrm/ext-export-import/releases and download, for example, the most current version today, 2.4.0.
2. After that, open the manifest.json file in the downloaded zip archive (you may need to unzip it first).
3. In manifest.json you will find information about both: the minimum version for EspoCRM and the minimum supported version of php. For example, Export-Import extension 2.4.0 requires php 8.0 (or later) and EspoCRM v7.3.0 (or later):


The most current one can also be checked here: https://github.com/espocrm/ext-expor...extension.json. However, for older versions, you can't do without downloading the extension.
