Hi,
this is a basic review.. i discover this hosting for a little project, i try it and give feedback.
it's not $ (100euro/year) .. and all seemts ok.
all is unlimited :s
it's first time i use cpanel
php 8.1 .. all extension seemt ok.. we can change all setting.
it's french hosting, cpanel is in all language.. wait and see

Very good. (for many user i think, small business).
+ i have install last espocrm without any issue : step : sftp upload.. and install
+ you have terminal access.. so upgrade process and other command no issue
+ sftp/ssh
+ select all php (max 8.1) so you can run old version
+ access all needed info in php.ini
+ you can create unlimited account/ftp user/database/domain.... no limit
+ ram no limit
+ disk space no limit
+ there are all software (sophocalus?) . .espoCRM is there in last version.. one click install
+ you can import espocrm from another server ! see print-screen
+ cron is avaible..

- i think, you must forget "websocket" or find another solution to run a service. (i will ask to support)
- you can navigate with terminal on root / .. but it's seemt you don't see all.

This review is just for help some who have posted in forum and have very restricted hosting
Here, i see only problem with websocket.

How long you been using it? Any feedback so far in term of "Bad Point"?

Did you migrate over?

Currently with my host, there is 2 issue I want to get sorted but haven't yet.

My database size is reaching 6GB which is their limit per database, looking through my database majority of them due to Email... I think you post a few thread with same issue?

So once I hit that 5.5GB size, I will start panicking!

Secondly, is they can't seem to give me access to htaccess properly so I can fix my Nextcloud installation. It can't do discovery and few security setting can't be fix. But this is secondary concern, primary is the Database issue at the moment.

We still got like 6 months left on our host, so I do want to move if required. Do they offer migration server free?

PS: I under CPanel have all language. But I think their Support is French only isnt it?

I think they offer support in english as well. personally i moved to hostinger and happy with it. very good user experience

Hi rabii,
i was thinking hostinger too.. but as this is a new project, i have prefered test this hosting.
hostinger give full control, root access, vps .. of course it's better than o2switch.. but the "unlimited" have give me the position to test it

if espocrm have just need 60gb or something so, a VPS is the better choose.
the restriction of a VPS is :
- bandwitch
- disk space
- ram

and i my experiment, processor/ram is not always stable .. because all VPS is shared in one server, so sometime in day/hours.. crm go slowly or faster.

certainly, if project go mature, i will go to a VPS.

For espcrm, he just need requirement :
- how many space ssd
- bandwitch .. but this i think never encoured the limit.

the rest, i think 4 or 8 gb is perfect..
and a little experiment in Webmin/Virtualmin .. is't like Cpanel. .. easy

as say, it's a new project, so the database is empty.. i can say something in maybe 1year (i think very little record), it's why i have not take a private cloud vps at https://www.ovhcloud.com/fr/vps/ at maybe ESSENTIAL or CONFORT.

it's easy to install from scrash on a debian, php82 and then virtuamin in one line command .. so you can use webmin/virtualmin as Cpanel easy. I do always this on my other job where we have our own datacenter.

in the past project, the vps was managed (www.combell.com), 4g ram, 200gb hdd, ssd.. the price i don't know but very high (+-400euro/month i think)..but here each month 150000 new record.
but i just send mail to support : update php .. and technical update php, i say : make a service for websocket and so.. i never touch core system.


support seemt to be in many language, so english no problem.
i don't think he offer server free, but you can try it for 3 month maybe for +-20euro

Thank item. I will put it in the consideration basket when the panic start.

I'm slowly (very slow, just collect bookmark of website haven't try any) to self-host myself consider our internet is too slow, but I doubtful if it can be publicly though, maybe private access for Employee only.

But there is many project I just drool but can't tried.

I just don't want to host until I have enough safety protection. Nothing worse have missing out some tips and the door become open to all foreign hacker.

do you have espocrm running in local ? no internet access ? it's only for lan user ?

I'm using a Shared Hosting. And like all Host there is restriction. And when restriction difficult to solve, you must find better plan or better host!
