  • VOIP Extention configuration based on campaigns

    Hello Team,
    We have 5 departments in our company. and voip calls needs to be managed seperate for these departments. Consider Department 1 , Depatrtment 2 ,....department 5 in this scenario. Inbound calls to Department 1 cannot be seen or attended by Other departments. How its possible. We are using 32 port gsm gateway and asterisk server for Telephony system.

    This is not a personal experience but observation one, from how I see people do it when I call up big company they have "Extension Dial", press 1 for "Account" press 2 for "Chat", press 3 for Everything Else.

    Maybe that how you can do it too, how exactly? sorry can't help but here a thread bump.

      i think that could be done through routing. i don't have the voip extension anymore but i have used it in the past. through routing and set up on your asterisk server this could be done.
