There was one for v6 but with v7 it is slightly different so following that guide might not work properly. I also remember seeing yuri (the main developer) writing a brief guide on how-to as well but I can't find it as I didn't save the links.

You can dig through his post if you eager to find the answer.

      Hi!
You can try to do Import/Export of your data with CSV files, however, you should be attentive and check if all the entities/fields are displayed after the import. Here you can read more about Import and Export: https://www.espocrm.com/tips/import-export/, and watch a tutorial: https://www.espocrm.com/video/import-data/.

Also, on our Community Forum you can leave your offer about importing your data and maybe some of the developers will help you with your request. Here is the link: https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/job-...find-developer.

        Hi Dionea,

Maybe this topic will be useful:
Can I do a new install (of 7.x) but use the current database? Will the installer recognize the already filled up database? In the past I would create a new empty database, install Espo with parms for new database, and then do a MySQLDump of the 'old' database and then do an import to the new one. Can I omit the dump and

        1. Create copy of files and database
        2. Move copy to a new server
        3. After migration upgrade EspoCRM

This was the thread I was referring to about it being v6 but it look like telecastg update it for v6 > v7.

I think in future might be better to create a new post, or keep old information still there.

Because now anyone who want to update v5 > v6 will never get a chance to read the guide as it is now "gone".
        Working...
