  • logs path is empty

    Hello,

unfortunatly my logs folder is empty:

    espo@espocrm:/var/www/html/espocrm/data$ ls -l
    insgesamt 252
    drwxrwxr-x 3 www-data www-data 4096 Okt 7 10:39 cache
    -rw-rw-r-- 1 www-data www-data 6365 Okt 7 10:39 config.php
    drwxrwxr-x 2 www-data www-data 4096 Sep 26 10:28 logs
    drwxr-xr-x 4 www-data www-data 241664 Okt 7 10:39 upload
    espo@espocrm:/var/www/html/espocrm/data$ ls -a logs
    . ..
    espo@espocrm:/var/www/html/espocrm/data$

I have no idea, why that log-folder is empty. Userrights are ok (i gues).
    Does anyone have an idea?

    Hello,
Directory entry as simply a "link" to a list of the files the directory contains. 'ls' command shows you the size of that link, not the total space occupied by the contents of the directory. The minimum size a file or directory entry/link must occupy is one block, which is usually 4096 bytes/4K on most ext3/4 filesystems.

As I know it is fetching email from IMAP host to EspoCRM only. So it shouldn't sync back emails from EspoCRM to gmail email box.

But on my Installation i'm able to set "sync back sent e-mails"..."to folder" . I will attach Screenshot.

I Really want to use this feature because i need to get sent mails when i'm offline.

This option means that sent emails will be stored on the IMAP server.

I see, that you are using your own email server. Could you try to reproduce this on gmail (imap.gmail.com). If on Gmail it will work, then this issue rather applies to your email server configs.

Please check the log file in data/logs. Perhaps cron is disabled (Administration -> Settings -> Disable Cron.

Is there any new error that describes this issue occurred in the log?

I have tested IMAP connection on my EspoCRM ver.5.7.5 with imap.gmail.com host. It works good.
