  • Pause Mass Email

How can we pause a Mass Email that has Email Queue Items that are pending? Without disrupting other Mass Emails that also have Queue Items pending.

There is no option to create Create Target List for Email Queue items that are pending. How are we supposed to stop a mass email (campaign) and then restart it with those who have not received it without effect other campaigns?

Currently if you setup campaign A and Campaign B with separate mass emails for each it will send ALL of campaign A before getting to Campaign B.

We need more control over the Email Queue Items.

There should be a simple way to create a list target list from Pending Mass Emails. Currently 'Pending' is missing from the campaign log list.

Pending is only listed as an option once in a Mass Email entity but this is no help since there is no create target list option.

We need a way to either pause a Mass Email so that we don't have to wait for 10k emails to send from "Campaign A" before sending 10k emails from "Campaign B" or create a list from those mass emails that are pending for that campaign so it can be restarted in future.

Currently if you select 'Inactive' in a campaign this doesn't have an effect on the campaign's Mass Emails they keep sending for that campaign.

A user would expect the campaign to become inactive (pause) once selected therefore that campaign's mass emails queue pending items would wait to be sent until active is selected again to resume the queue for that campaign.

Any insight or workaround would be appreciated.

i don't think that is true, hence you can control when each mass email should start therefore if you set the mass email for campaign to start earlier than mass email of campaign b then the former will go first.

This option allow you to create a target list with targets like (leads - accounts etc) it doesn't create a mass email list - i think you got confused here.

      > Pending is only listed as an option once in a Mass Email entity but this is no help since there is no create target list option.
There should not be any create target list because the mass email items are records that hold info about which email to send next. This has nothing to do with target list.

I think you can change the status of the mass email to be (draft) that might stop sending the email but not sure. you can try it at least and see if works.
