  • When email attachment size is over the limit there is no "Error message" in the email

    Hello guys,

back in the days when we received an email where the attachment size was over the system allowance, we had a note in the email something like "email attachment size exceeded limit" or something like that.

After the upgrade to Espo 7.5.5 we are not getting the error message. The email is just empty and there is an attachment icon but there is no attachment in the email. When we log to amazon workmail directly in the browser the attachment is there. The behavior is expected, the only thing we are missing is the error message so the user knows what is going on.

Do you think it could be connected with the upgrade to the newer version?

Thanks a lot for the tips.
    Have a nice day

    Jakub Grufik,

Checked on EspoCloud 7.5.6 and on 8.0.0 master - works in both cases. Of course I previously specified in Administration > Entity Manager > Email > Fields > Attachments > Max File Size (Mb) the value I need. Proofs on the screenshots.
