Easy way to add Industry to Opportunity

Hi

We mainly use opportunities in EspoCRM since most of our customers only have one purchase. For this reason it seem to be double work to use both Account and Opportunity.
Some customers have multiple projects, then we create an Account for them. Hope there is no major disadvantages to this approach.

Now we would like to have the drop down of Industry that exists on Account for Opportunity. Is it possible to add it some way easilyor is the only way to hand craft a new one?

Hi jensolsson.se,

1. You need EspoCRM version 7.5.0 or higher.
2. In Administration > Entity Manager > Opportunity > Fields, create a field with type Enum. In the Options Reference, select Account Industry (screenshot 1).
3. In Administration > Layout Manager > Opportunity > Detail (or in another desired Layout) add the created field.
4. Use (screenshot 2).

It was recently add in one of the v7, maybe 7.5? or 7.4. Lucky you.
