How does pricing for external cloud storage compare to EspoCRM cloud?

Can't help you much on AWS which seems to be a bit overkill in my view.

I already have a hosting package at Siteground for all my websites. So i host Espo there. You do have to have technical skills to maintain such an instance. Although the excellent people here on the forum are a big help!

The cloud version helps Espo (financially) and you don't have to do a thing as all updates are done for you. It kinda depends on how much data you are going to have storage wise.
Cloud version als includes advanced pack extention.

Is it only storage concerns you have?

Storage is the only concern. I dont really have any tech skills either.

It quite simple with a Control Panel and Shared Hosting, that how I learnt. Install Wordpress. Thanks to the power of tutorial and search engine.

And a easy to setup GUI help.
