Roles - Assignment Permission - team only

Hello,
I would like to ask you how exactly does assignment permission team only works. Does it count default team or all the teams assigned to the users?

Is it enough if user1 has 1 team in common with user2 to whom he is trying to assign the record?

Yes it works based on teams of a user. e.g a user1 and user2 belong to team One as long as the permission is set to view (team) then a record (account assigned to team One) will be accessible by both users.

Remember that when permissions are based on team then no need to assign a record to a user instead the record needs to be assigned to a team so that users of that team can access that record.
