  • Cannot Add Portal User as Follower

    Hello,

    I'm struggling to add a portal user as a follower of a case. The error I'm getting says that the user does not have access to the stream for the record. However, the user does have access because the case is for this contact.

    Below is how Contacts and Portals are configured.

    Contact A is Portal User A
    Portal User A has access to the Support Portal
    The Support Portal has the Support Portal User Role
    The Support Portal User Role has access to case stream on a contact level.

    I cannot seem to figure out what I am missing.

    Please advise

    One important note: The Portal User auto-follows the case when the case is created from an incoming email. I'm having this issue when the case is created by a regular/admin user.
