Documents in Browser

Does anyone know of any extensions or integrations to view documents in the browser and not have to download to view? I am not talking about built-in browser viewing because you still have to download the file to temp, I am looking more for like a light box style viewer were users can just see the documents on any device with HTML5.

If document is of type PDF it will be opened in a new window on the browser. Other types like word, excel are not supported yet.
