  • My team member can view all data in EspoCRM.

    Hi,
    Few of our team members can view all data in our EspoCRM although we had set in their role they don't have access to it.
    We don't know when this happen until they told us they can view it for quite some time already.
    We checked their role setting and can't find anything wrong. Previously everything was ok.

    Any setting gone wrong?

    Hi,

    You might have added extra roles or teams for the users. Roles don't restrict, they allow (by default a user doesn't have access to everything). You add one role that allows access to certain scopes. You can add more roles that will grant access to more scopes for the same user.

      if the team members are assigned to a team which has a role then the system will apply the permissions assigned to the teams's role. make sure that only users are assigned roles and not teams.
