  • SMTP in user preferences

Hello, does anyone know how to edit users SMTP preferences. For some users I want to enable SMTP be able to sent mails, but not use general CRM's " Outbound Emails" and don't create "Personal Email Accounts" for that.

I have "SMTP relay" service, which I would like to enable/use for particular users.

    Hi partomas,

Unfortunately, such logic is not currently supported.
In my case, there is no SMTP scope in the Preferences of v7.1.3.

SMTP in preferences is a legacy. If personal email account is allowed for a user, SMTP will be hidden in preferences. I don't recommend using it.

      Hi partomas,

Try to create a Personal Email Account and assign it to the needed user for these purposes:

It's not supported, was in early versions. We should remove mentioning in the documentation.
