Filter select list based on another relationship

Hi,

I have a custome entity with a relationship to account and also contact. How can i filter the contact list so that it only shows the contacts related to the account selected? This is already the functionality on cases and opportunites.

You need a custom contacts field on your entity and you need to implement a filter based on current active account, this is how it is done for case entity:
