Disable Email notification does not work

I decide to want to disable email notification as it make it difficult to be notify of more important notification such as @mention.

I went into Administration > Notification > What to notify about > (remove) Received email > Save

Yet I'm still receiving notification for incoming email, is there another setting I need to do to disable this? Anyone disable it before and know how to do it?

I tried searching forum and using 3rd party search engine for any topic but have no luck. Even the "wiki" doesn't have. Thank you.

    Hi

To implement this, you must create an Email Folder and an Email Filter with the "Put in Folder" action.

Thanks Vadym, found it under here, but quite annoying having to do this for each email.

"Users can create their own email folders to put some of emails in for convenience. List of available folders is available at Emails page at the left side. To create or edit folders follow Emails > dropdown in top-right corner > Folders. Skip Notification means that you won't be notified about incoming emails that fall into the certain folder. By utilizing Email Filters it's possible to put emails in folders automatically by specific criteria."

Going to give this another bump... I been using it for a few days and still getting the bell Notification to top right corner for the email I tested with.

Is it happening for all emails? I believe the issue only occurs when the same email is fetched twice (or more). It could happen if an email with the same message-id is fetched from multiple email accounts in Espo.
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

Thank Yuri, yes, for all email I enable Skip Notification it still showing.

Not sure about double fetching, I only add it one email to a single user, however I do have ~5 personal email added to a single user, perhaps that might be the reason why. However they are each different domain so that could be the reason double "same message-id".

I will live with it until version Espo v7 and see if it still having issue. Or hopefully someone who can provide insight that manage use the skip and got it working.

This is the fix for duplicate emails. It's for v7.0. Applying it to v6 would require some changes.
