  • CRM for Healthcare implementation

    Hello,

I'm implementing EspoCRM for a healthcare org., where the patient will be central place (B2C - we will gather info & interactions & docs related to medical history) and we will have multiple implementation/integrations with suppliers offering medical treatments (B2B), GDPR & privacy will be very important, etc.

When is about "CRM for Healthcare" (this link - https://www.espocrm.com/industries/healthcare/), do you have some documentation or recommendations or tips&tricks about how to adapt EspoCRM for a healthcare implementation?
Something like starting with basics (what entities to use/adapt/create for the Patient/B2C and Suppliers/B2B), up to more advanced.

    Thank you in advance!

        Hello,
i am working in healthcare in belgium and i can say it's very very complicated (law) !
you need a Teams who follow law, a Teams of developper who adapt all week the code...

In belgium, if i do a big resume, one patient : all data (document, contact, care,.. ) of this patient must be only accessible to only one doctor, only if doctor say, i share this data with this doctor, ..
doctor must be authentified by "identity" (connector to gouvernment database)..
all exchange of data must be in certain format (i have forget format)
all must be logged (field too)
        no duplicate.
        ...

        where is your country ?

        Regards

Hello item and thank you for your answer!

The scenarios you describe is the most complex "nightmare" I was afraid of ... I'm evaluating if to go there
My country is Romania: patient & doctor "identity" is used with government apps & sites but not with private ones and at least by now I'm not planning to integrate with public/government site - no need (yet) for special format.
We're like a startup in the beginning and we're evaluating: a) if to have the CRM core only for managing the patient/client and it's interactions ("pure CRM") or b) we will gather al info & docs related to medical history (patient database)
Depending what data we will gather I' evaluating also giving access/consent from patient to his/her doctor

          Thanks again for sharing!

I think most of those is written from an "Lorem ipsum", the only that I feel like isn't is the Real Estate one cause there is an actual extension for that.

the more generic is the field/vertical the most simple is to implement an extension
Healthcare is so complex and a lot of rules/legislations and I don't think is so simple ;(

The Real Estate extend actually create a new function/feature in EspoCRM.

As for your healthcare you have to create from scratch yourself. No one in the community has create a shareable version yet, which would help quick start your or anyone else CRM system.

For example it can help add in basic information that all Healthcare might have, for example: adding a field for Doctor/Specialist and Patient. A relationship/field for Medicine/equipment.

It quite simple to create something that at least give off an impression of being related to certain industry (healthcare for example) and you can work from there to make it more complex.

If there is an export/import function Entity Template sometime in the future I wouldn't mind sharing what I created so other people in our industry can base on that. Sadly it is too complex at the moment to do that. That said, I like the (free) Real Estate extension, I use about 80% of the feature it provide and make additional modification from there.

        Hello,

in belgium, all software "gouvernment ready" is targeted for "law".. so User is not happy.
i have talk with one US software hospital in belgium... he say me "it's (law) so complicate, we loose money in belgium".

You need to think 3 :
        Administrative task
        Clinical task
        Law ready in future.

What you do target to ?

you can download criteria/documentation here https://ramit.be/software-registration/

          Hello gary and emillod,

I’m currently implementing a CRM with a focus on healthcare.
Have there been any recent updates on this topic?
My clients are specifically looking for CRM frameworks that have already been successfully used in healthcare web applications.
