  • Additonal information and inline edit within N:N bottom panel

    Hey everyone out there,

I would like to set up a seminar management entity.
For this entity i need a N:N link with the contact entity which should contain additional information (like is the contact only on waitinglist, has he already placed payment for this seminar and so on).
Since those information aren't part of either contact or seminar they would have to be placed within the N:N connection table and be only accessible using the bottom panel.
This therefore needs to have an inline edit function.

I tried to use the following manuals to get it done:

    - https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/feature-requests/27884-editable-updatable-fields-in-lists

but since my coding isn't that strong i failed on either one of those and made contact to the development support.
They thought that the idea of having such a link would be quiet interesting and adviced me to ask here what you think about that.

    Best wishes

Did you think about using this (paid) extension: https://www.eblasoft.com.tr/product-...le-inline-form

Saw it and it looks really cool and will solve one of the two problems but I still don't get the additional information into the link or the bottom panel.

edit: okay guess after watching the video again I might have found the way to archive it with that plugin.
I will give it a try and get back here with an result.

I use this extension for similiar purposes as you do (at least I guess).
I have an app to administrate artwork. So I use this extension in one case, where from the list of artworks you can fill the works for an exhibition (another entity). With this extension, I can choose all the artwork, that will be in that exhibition and this way I create an exhibition list. This list is editable in the exhibition entity and the edits appear also in the works entity.

In the work`s entity on the other hand I can show the exhibition, in which the work is exhibited. Really convenient.

And I use it for many other purposes in my app.
