  • Importing CSV gives 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi

Im having the latest version of ESPO CRM.. Everything works fine except for importing leads through a CSV file i get error 500... When i select the csv it shows all the data and when i press import, after a like 20 seconds i get error 500 in a small red box and when i view though firebug it says "500 Internal Server Error" ....

If i import like 100 leads around 20-30 gets uploaded before i get the error...Its not a time out issue coz i have set it to 300 seconds. An i dont have access to error logs

Can someone please tell me what might be causing it and how to fix?

    Thanks

    Hi
It's difficult to guess the problem reason. Did you try to import in idle mode?

Import > Step 1 > Properties > Execute in idle (for big data; via cron) (Check the box)

Did you check apache error log file? Espo logs as well.
Is it possible you have leads with the same ids?

I dont have access to apache error logs and there are no errors in the espo logs

I have around 1000 leads, when i select check for duplicates (checkbox not checked) and run import. After a few minutes i get the internal server error

When i select check for duplicates (checkbox not checked) and idle mode, not a single lead gets imported

When i disable duplicate check, within a few minutes all the leads get uploaded.

But i need to check for duplicates while uploading

The first thing you need to know about an "Internal Server Error" is that the error can only be resolved by fixes to the Web server software. It is not a client-side problem meaning that the problem is not with your browser, your computer, or your internet connection. There are a number of causes for a 500 Internal Server Error to display in a web browser.
