There is only
- Meetings
- Calls
- Tasks
- Emails
- Documents
- Target Lists, about which there is an alert.
But there is no Contacts, Opportunities, the change of which attributes are also important: the Opportunity is transferred from one employee to another, but the appointed employee will not be notified.
* There is Reminders field on meeting's layout. Only users will be notified.
* I think it's possible to implement in Workflow feature. Create scheduled workflow, that will list of contacts that have birthday today and create notifications for them. I will check this.
