- Meetings
- Calls
- Tasks
- Emails
- Documents
- Target Lists, about which there is an alert.
But there is no Contacts, Opportunities, the change of which attributes are also important: the Opportunity is transferred from one employee to another, but the appointed employee will not be notified.Comment

* There is Reminders field on meeting's layout. Only users will be notified.
* I think it's possible to implement in Workflow feature. Create scheduled workflow, that will list of contacts that have birthday today and create notifications for them. It's available in Full Form. You can also set default reminder in Preferences.
