    Calendar problem

    Hi,
I tried managing the calendar so that the manager user can see their own calendar and all other users' calendars, and other users can see their own calendar and the manager's. (Now, in the manager's calendar, users only see appointments created directly by them and not by other members; that's the problem.)

    Thank you very much
    David

Hi, if you're referring to the shared view, yes I use it, but I'm experiencing the problem I described.

      Thanks

    Hi David,

Is this a question about user access for Meetings, Calls, and Tasks, or about what is displayed in the Calendar tab?

If the former. You can utilize the 'team' access level. Manager users should have a Role that with 'team' access level for Meetings, while regular users have 'own' access level for Meetings. Both managers and regular users should belong to the same Team. Users needs to have that Team set in the Default Team (in the User record). This way, when the user creates a meeting, it's automatically assigned to that team, and the manager can see this meeting as they see all meetings related to the team.

    Hi David.D.,

Regarding your request, EspoCRM’s existing system functionality includes "Shared Calendars": https://docs.espocrm.com/user-guide/...hared-calendar.

There are also many threads on the forum where the "Shared Calendars" functionality has been discussed. I provided a response in one of them:
    https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/gene...361#post115361.

      Hi Victor, thanks
      In https://forum.espocrm.com/forum/gene...361#post115361
you write "2. For an event to be displayed in the Calendar of at least one User, there must be at least one User (for example, User A) in this event in Attendees > Users."

Does this mean that if I want to display a call in the calendars of two users (who are not the user to whom the task or call was assigned), I also have to add them to the “Attendees > Users” field?
For example: A is the user assigned the call. Do I need to add B and C to the “Participants” field so that A, B, and C can see that call in their calendars?
Isn’t there an easier way for the user to do this?

Thank you very much for your support
