{RUDE LANGUAGE REDACTED} that you can't just type in a simple 9-digit phone number to find a match in your system? I can search with or without dashed, but requiring me to put +1 is {PROFANITY REDACTED}. Why the {PROFANITY REDACTED} can't you just simply show me all the matches for what I searched. It's literally impossible?
Why is country code required in global search for phone numbers?

Next time, I suggest creating a proper feature request. For example, "Search in phone numbers without the need to include country code". The kind of communication you use is not tolerated here. Please make sure it does not happen again.
Note that you do not need to include + sign but still need to include the code ("1"). To avoid the need to add code, you can prepend a wildcard `*` or enable the parameter: Administration > Settings > Use 'contains' operator when filtering varchar fields.
