Locked out of during 30-day EspoCloud trial — no "Forgot Password?"

    Hi everyone,

I'm in the middle of setting up a new instance during the 30-day EspoCloud trial (ashlex.espocloud.com), and I've managed to lock myself out of the only admin account. Hoping someone here has seen this before.

    What I did:
    - I changed the admin account's username to "michael".
    - The system indicated it would email me a password. That email never arrived (I'm guessing the account had no email address set, and/or outbound email was never configured on the instance).

    Where I'm stuck:
    - There's only one account on the instance — the admin — so I can't log in with a second user and reset it from Administration → Users.
    - The "Forgot Password?" link doesn't appear on my login page at all, so I can't trigger a reset that way.
    - Because this is EspoCloud (managed hosting), I don't have CLI or database access, so the usual fixes I've seen on the forum — bin/command set-password, editing the user table in phpMyAdmin, copying the passwordSalt from data/config.php — aren't available to me.

    My questions:
    1. Is there any way to recover admin access on an EspoCloud trial instance without CLI/DB access that I'm missing?
    2. Is the missing "Forgot Password?" link definitely down to outbound email not being configured / recovery being disabled, or could something else hide it?
    3. For anyone who's done a trial setup — is the only route here to contact EspoCloud support directly, or is there a self-serve option in the cloud panel I haven't found?

I'd love to get back to setting this up without losing trial time, so any pointers are appreciated. Thanks!

If you only changed the username of your admin user and didn't use the "forget/reset password" feature, then the password should stay the same as you've got on your email when you registered your trial cloud account, or I could be missing something.

In any case, emillod is right, and the only option here is to fill out the support form with the copy of this forum thread.
