Email Fetch Date ignored for User

When setting up email archiving on Espo a user had the fetch date set to 01/09/2025. Yet there are emails that have pulled in from 2022.

No other users experience this in the system, all users were set up the same.

All the emails from before the fetch date have been previously removed from the system, but they have reappeared again.

Is there any reason this would occur?

It is quite a strange situation that deleted emails (before the new Fetch Since) reappeared. In this case, it remains to delete unnecessary emails.
And the reason why this could happen is probably that the new Fetch Since was installed after the Check Group Email Accounts or Check Personal Email Accounts was run:
    1. The unnecessary emails were deleted, but the Scheduled Job was run and the Fetch Since was not changed.
    2. Then the Fetch Since was immediately changed.
    3. Only then the newer Fetch Since was installed.

In the interval between these steps, the Scheduled Job started fetching data according to the old date. To prevent this from happening in the future, it is advisable to deactivate Personal or Group Email Accounts before deleting unnecessary emails and changing the Fetch Since.

    - Additionally, please clarify how exactly you deleted the emails, perhaps you accidentally moved them to another folder on the EspoCRM side, or deleted only part of the retrieved emails that were in a separate folder, and the rest remained?
    - Have you checked that these emails are definitely deleted in phpMyAdmin (deleted is marked as "1").
    - Also check the "created_at" column of email table (for emails, that should not have been created) in phpMyAdmin.
