Is it a bug? no flowchart started after WF changed values

Hi guys, tell me please if it is a bug:

on a espo demo i've created WF and FCH



i also created button "456" that puts value 123456 to contact's description



but there is a Flowchart that starts on UPDATE and where description contains '12345'

and should update description to:


and it does not work


is it a specific mechanic or bug?

1. You have created a button (in Workflow) that adds "123456" in Description field.
2. You have also created a BPMN that should react/trigger if Description field contains "12345".

In your case, BPMN will work when the change in the contact does NOT occur using another Workflow or BPMN. That is, this is the intended behavior.
If you want to trigger one BPMN using another, you need to use Workflow with Sequential Trigger Type: https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...ws/#sequential. And this Workflow can be called either by another Workflow, or through Trigger Another Workflow Rule BPMN Activity: https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...-workflow-rule.
