Cleaning data/upload folder

I installed EspoCRM a couple of months ago, getting it ready for a client to start using it.

I've done a couple of upgrades of the main application and one extension since, just to keep it up to date - but no-one has started using it yet.

The data/upload folder now has nearly 6,000 files in it - totalling over 530mb.

Can these files be safely deleted - or is there a routine that can be run to remove any redundant files?

I'm not sure what do you have there, you can go to Admin -> Attachments to check these files. EspoCRM will clean up these files automatically if they're not needed.

Maybe you have an email set up and these are all the attachments from these emails?
