    Account with multiple emails, compose sends email only to first address

    Hello,

    If I have an account with multiple email addresses, compose a new email, and select the account via ^, it only selects (and sends to) the first email:

    Please do not create bug reports for such problems. If something works not like one needs, it does not mean it's a bug. Plus we have the bug report rules.

      Could you please remove this topic, since I seem to have reported the intended behavior (which, frankly, surprises me a bit)

        I moved to the general.

        This behavior has been like this since 2013. I can't recall any request to change it. Personally, I find the current behavior as desirable. I most cases I need to send an email to a single address. The other addresses are usually used to automatically associate incoming emails with the account.

          When adding Contact's addresses in the Compose Email, the Account will be pre-filled as a filter. So Contacts associated with the Account can be added.

        This behavior (when only the Primary Email is added) is specifically intended by the developers.

        Workaround 1.
        You can create three accounts (AFP Suply 1, AFP Suply 2 and AFP Suply 3) with one email address in each of them.

        Workaround 2 (more logical and correct).
        You can create three contacts for the AFP Suply account, with one email address in each of them (these contacts must be related to the AFP Supply account).
        - When creating an Email, you have AFP Suply in the Parent field; in the To field, click on ^:

        - In the window that appears, select the Contacts tab and sequentially select the necessary contacts (by default, the filter will automatically select contacts related to AFP Suply, in which an email address is specified):
