Retreiving personal email retreival frequency

Hi, I am trying to check all personal emails every five minutes, so I set the check personal emails cron job to a five minutes frequency as shown in the attached screen shot. However, it seems the execution frequency is actually every 15 minutes (as shown in the attached screen shot). I know it is every 15 minutes as that is how long I have to wait to read emails sent to me. What do I have set incorrectly? Am I over looking the setting of another cron job in a higher order module? Thanks for your help on this.

Try every 2 minutes or even a minute -> watch for 10 minutes -> see if this job is running correctly.
Also try enabling Administration > Job Settings > Jobs Run in Parallel.

Hi Victor, Thank you for the suggestion but I fixed the cron by going deep into php at my operating system level. That was set to every 15 minutes. But thank you again.
