Creating a phone field in Event Module

Before if i go to this path, cd custom/Espo/Custom/Resources/metadata/entityDefs/Query.json I am able to create the phone number field by copy pasting from Contact or any other Person module, But now after adding it's not reflecting in CRM front end. Administration > Entity Manager > Query > Fields, It's not there. How can achieve the same?

You haven't cleared your cache, so you don't see it.
Clear the Espo cache and your browser cache, or after clearing the Espo cache, go to an incognito tab of your browser, or a browser that is not used to work with EspoCRM - and the field will appear.
