How to restrict users from editing their dashboards?

Hi, I am utilizing the Dashboard Templates to standardize the dashboards of users. How can I restrict the users from editing their dashboards? I tried looking for a settings but I couldn't find one. Please help and thanks in advance.

You can go on the dashboard settings and lock it. Users will not be able to make changes unless they unlock it.

No. your best bet is to use a custom css file to hide the field or to hide the edit dashboard option completely and then changing this field from API.
