    Problem with reports - OpportunityRoles

    Hello,

I'm facing an issue with my reports and I'm not sure how to resolve it.

I have several Opportunities with Contacts assigned specific roles. One person can be linked to multiple opportunities, each with a different role. Here's an example of how the Contact (John Doe) view looks:

I'd like to create a report that includes only Contacts who are listed as Technicians specifically on opportunities named "My Opportunity." I tried building a report from the Contact entity using filters, but the report still includes Contacts who are Technicians on "Other Opportunities" as well.

I'm struggling to figure out how to filter them out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate this?

    Best regards! Jacek

Use the following instead of your filter:

Unfortunately, the described method does not work. I've tested it on two of my environments, as well as on the demo site (https://demo.eu.espocrm.com/). The issue is that John Doe appears in the report, even though he has the "Technician" role assigned to an Opportunity named "Other…". It seems that the report filters do not function correctly (or perhaps this behavior is intentional?).

Currently, as long as John Doe is linked to at least one Opportunity with a name containing "My opportunity" (regardless of his role in that opportunity), the report will include him. However, what I need is a list of people who have role A in Opportunities whose name contains the string "ABC."

Do you have any other suggestions or workarounds?

BTW: A side issue is that when I include OpportunityRole as a column in the report, it's always empty. However, when I use it in the Filters, it works as expected.

Submit the following full screen screenshots:
        1. Settings of your report.
        2. The result you got in report.
        3. Profile of the contact that should have been included in this report. The screenshot should show Bottom Panels with Opportunities.

I must admit that the option I proposed will not suit you. Maybe someone else in the community can help you.
