How to Map a Contact while importing Opportunity

Each Opportunity is associated with a Contact, referred to as the "Primary Contact. Since Contact names are often not unique (multiple people may have the same name), using the Contact name to map Opportunities to the correct Contact during import may cause mismatches or errors. To avoid these issues, i want to use a unique identifier, such as the mobile number, to map the Opportunities to the correct Contact during import. The mobile number is unique across all Contacts, i can use it as the key to map the Opportunity to the correct Contact. Is it possible to map the phone number column from sheet to Contact Primary (Name) or any other solutions?

    - In your Opportunities import file, add a Contact (Primary) (ID) column (screenshot 1) and enter the correct ID of the contact that should be the Contact (Primary) for the imported Opportunity.
    - Additionally, make sure that your import file contains all the data that is Recuired for the Opportunity entity (for example, the amount field).
    - In the second import step, during field mapping, assign the Contact (Primary) (ID) column to the appropriate field from the import file (screenshot 2).
    - Complete the import procedure and make sure that it is correct.

Thanks, Actually, I'm aware of this process. I want to export the contacts and use a VLOOKUP in the sheet to retrieve the respective Contact ID for the Opportunity.
That's why I asked if it's possible to map the phone number column to the Contact Primary (Name).
When searching for a contact from the Opportunity, I'm able to type either the name or the mobile number, and the respective contact appears.

Of course you can and it will work. You can also create a test import file yourself, conduct testing and make sure that your actions are correct.
    Working...
