Field mandatory and non-mandatory on layout set

Hi team,

1. I have created the layout sets in system, So i want to map objects with the layouts set how we can do this ?
2 Also i have 1 question how we can make field field mandatory and non-mandatory on basis of layout sets with roles in system

Not possible with the GUI. either it is mandatory for everyone or no one. I think! Correct if I'm wrong.

1. I don't understand, please elaborate
2. If you'd like to specify mandatory settings, it can be done only in entity manager, based on user or user team. For example you can set that if logged user is assigned to team X, field Y will be required.
