    public and non-public cases

    Hi, I would need functionality to set up public and non-public cases. Public requests would be seen by portal user and non-public would not be seen. The knowledge base for articles has similar functionality. Is there any solution for this? Thank you

    That is quite easy, but a little bit work. Two examples:
    1) Design an own entity. Design roles.
    2) Reduce access to e.g. cases field by field.
    Depends on what portal users should see if there is an internal case or not, even if they won't see details.
    Hint: You can design roles for customer portal users.

      Hello, thank you, but
      1) The Cases entity has some features that the newly created entity type (Base Plus) does not have. For example, there is the ability to lock the stream.
      2) Yes, I can disable the field. But it cannot be applied to a list. Here the portal user will see everything.

        Hello PavelZ
        that require ACL customization, to hide Cases which are not public. Thanks to this, these lists will not be visible to Portal User. We have something similar already coded for our EspoCRM, to hide tasks which are completed for longer than X time. If you'd like to receive a proposal for such solution, please write to us. Below you have link to our website.
